LL Bean Vtg 1980's Quilted Christmas Cabin Lodge Wall Quilt / Table Cover 32x30

Description: Rare Vintage 1980's / 1990's L. L. Bean Appliqued & Pieced Quilted Wall Quilt or Table Topper Accent Cover Excellent Condition and Hard-to-Find this Pattern Wonderful condition and presentation! The cotton quilt top on this wall quilt features a blended pattern of an appliqued cabin home, trees, with hearts and holly bordered by a pieced checkerboard pattern. It is approximately 32" wide x 30" long with the colorful fabrics being all cotton and consisting of a dark evergreen Christmas print and a Red Calico mini floral print..... all quilted through to a solid ivory colored cotton backing. It has a medium loft batting that feels like it is polyester fill, and along the top on the back a rod pocket has been attached for easy hanging over a dowel rod for the wall. It is multi-use however, as it doubles very nicely as a centerpiece table accent, a small table cover, or even an accent piece on the back of a couch or chair. Nicely done with an excellent traditional Christmas color palette! Bean's label is an embroidered one sewn in diagonally across one corner. This label was used in the 1980's and possibly the 1990's. The Freeport, Maine designation is still on it, so we know it to be prior to 2000. I purchased this from a very nice estate, and it is without damage. It has been freshly laundered to remove any old storage dust and a slight mothball odor. It will come to you clean and fresh and ready to use. FYI.... it laundered very well in cool water with Nellie's hypoallergenic soap without any color fade or bleed. The fabrics remained well defined in pattern and bright.
