Photo by Gilbert studio of Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Livingston D. Smith was born January 5, 1854 and died September 4, 1916 at the age of 62. He was the son of Denison (or Dennison) J. Smith (1826-1884) and Mary Wells Smith (1831-1888). He had a brother Edwin Jason Smith (1857-1862) who was married to Annie Brightwood Newell. Both Livingston and his brother Edwin are buried in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield, Massachusetts. Measures approximately 6.75 x 8.75 including mount.
