Verawood is a bit cold sensitive, plant it in USDA Zones 9 to 11, however, temperatures in the low 40's have been reported to cause defoliation. PLANTING AND CARE - Dig a hole approximately twice as wide as your new plant’s root ball and deep enough so that the top of the root ball is parallel with the ground level.
