Lisa Larson Gray "Katt" Made in Gustavsberg Sweden 1966/ HTF Ceramic Chubby Cat

Description: Super cute and hard to find 1966 "Katt" cat by Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg Pottery Sweden. Part of her Menagerie series he has a dark gray glaze with darker gray stripes. Lisa did many animals including several different cats. Clear sticker on the base. About the Artist: Lisa Larson (1931-2024) she and her pottery are renowned representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design. She studied at College of Crafts and Design in Gothenburg. After she finished her education, she competed in a Scandinavian art competition where she was approached by Stig Lindberg who offered her a one year trial position at the Gustavsberg porcelain factory. She was there for over 20 years. She just passed away in March. In good vintage condition with just some signs of wear and age. Most notably a black mark on his chin which I believe is a factory flaw as it looks like the same paint use to paint the details of his face. There are no nicks or chips.
