Description: This Lionel Vintage Standard 8E locomotive is very nice and bright in Olive Green and is a must have for any model train collector. This locomotive has a 0-4-0 wheel configuration and is made of pressed steel, steel and die cast materials for durability. The C-6 Very Good grade ensures that it has been well maintained and is in good running working condition. I am not a train expert. I just did a simple test and the motor works very well. It has been kept in original condition. The roof light head has a little damage on one end and no bulb, and no light on the other end. I am not sure how well the light works. The Lionel standard gauge and transportation theme make this locomotive a great addition to any model railroad collection. The green color and vintage look bring a touch of nostalgia to any display. This commissioned locomotive was built in the United States in 1930 and is a perfect example of the quality craftsmanship that Lionel is famous for.
