Description: A wonderful antique European grain sack dating from the circa 1880. This sack was hand woven and used for storing grains! Its a nubby hand woven , homespun linen, with a horizontal textured red and blue stripe on one side. This stripe is the weavers signature! This grainsack has a soft, dense, floppy and somewhat coarse texture. The original ties are still at the opening! 100% machine washable, over and over and over.
