Product Description: The Linear model MT-1b is a one channel visor style gate or garage door opener remote control radio transmitter part number ACP00877. This Linear MT-1B visor remote works with the Linear garage door openers that have a learn button as well as the MegaCode gate opener radio receivers and telephone entry units. The Mega Code format of remote controls are factory pre-programmed with and do not have any code switches. All the Linear MegaCode versions of remote controls feature a 10 second timeout that shuts down the remote until the button is released. This feature not only saves the battery but also prevents re-activation or the door or gate in the event that the button is accidentally held down. Since there are no code switches with this type or remote, it has to be programmed to the radio receiver or garage door opener for it to work. This item comes in a plastic bag and includes visor clip, battery (installed) and basic remote instructions. NOTE: This remote will not work with the Delta-3 series of remotes that use code switches.
