It is a Speech Memorial, and not intended as a Lincoln Memorial. The Lincoln Speech Memorial is possibly the only monument ever built to honor a speech, and can be found in the National Cemetery in Gettysburg, PA. Visitors may see the Lincoln Speech Memorial when they enter the Soldiers National Cemetery from the Taneytown Road Entrance. The Lincoln Speech Memorial, erected on January 24, 1912, was part of the bill that Representative Daniel Sickles submitted and had passed on February 11, 1895.
