Ours is a 20 year engineered canvas that has been under development for upwards of 10 years. It is a woven material that is woven from engineered polyester thread, not cotton. In other words, our covers are canvas, but rather than canvas constructed of cotton thread, the canvas is constructed of polyester thread. This is our method of choice for many reasons, some of which are longevity, quality, appearance, and reliability. Think of how, for example, engineered wood flooring is many times more durable than organic wood flooring. Now, apply that thinking to our engineered canvas. That is how we, with pride, offer you a lifetime warranty. The material is woven from engineered polyester thread, then polyurethaned, waterproofed, and mildew protected. The secret is in the strap system. Our covers have a strap system that is designed to be used at least three ways. Each cover comes with 2 independent strap systems. One is ‘over the top’. One is ‘down the sides’. You can use them independently, together, or not at all. ‘Not at all’ would be best as a dust cover, etc…maybe as an indoor type cover. Or, maybe as a quick throw on, based on your circumstances. The ‘down the sides’ straps serve well when your boat is on a trailer, especially for storage. The short straps go through the loops, and down around the trailer frame, making it super secrure. The ‘over the top’ straps are for trailering, generally, and increase the wind tolerance of the cover exponentially. It is recommended to maintain a lower speed and check straps and cover movement often when trailering. 3.
