Description: Superb huge & heavy vintage Stylebuilt 24K gold plated brass metal & beveled glass jewelry casket in a beautiful rich golden color... Richly detailed, this casket features an ornate filigree floral motif with greenery and scrolls, and has 6 thick, prong-set beveled glass panels (2 large oval and 4 round) all around and a huge oval beveled glass panel along the top. It sits elevated on 4 prominent ornate scrolled feet, and has an ornate little filigree handle along the front which opens and closes the box smoothly. The inside of the casket has a camel colored velveteen lining, and the bottom is made of mottled brass. The original Saks-Fifth-Avenue label and original Stylebuilt ACCESSORIES No. 634 GUARANTEED NOT TO TARNISH label are attached along the bottom. This casket displays beautifully and has a rich, warm golden patina achieved naturally over time... Hexagonal-shape with 6 sides, this casket measures overall ~10 inches long, ~6&1/2" wide and ~4&3/4 inches tall. Appears hardly used. In overall very good-excellent condition with age-expected dustiness, mild soilage, very fine superficial scratches and patination.
