Les Fleurs animations, the most popular illustrated book and masterpiece of the 19th century illustrator Granville. The idea behind the publication of this book was to imbue the beautiful flowers with the image of his wife Henriette, who died in 1842. It is said that the paintings were made with the earnest hope that he would be able to see his late wife again after his death.
