The lithographed poster includes a red inked raptor with spread wings and the words “Support Our Troops … Bring Them Home!” in black ink. The lithograph is pencil signed “Baskin” below the right side of the raptor’s image. The year “1991” and “Baskin” are also included in red ink under the raptor image. The heavy high-quality paper sheet measures approximately 21 ¼ by 29 inches and does not appear to have been mounted or framed previously. Leonard Baskin (1922-2000) was a nationally and internationally acclaimed sculptor, printmaker, graphic designer and teacher. His work is in a number of museums including the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the British Museum, the Vatican Museums, the Smithsonian Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the National Portrait Gallery and many others.
