Description: Lego vintage set number 4011, Cabin Cruiser, was produced in 1991 and contains 96 pieces (as per Peeron.com web site), which is inclusive of 2 mini figures, 1 shark and 1 fishing pole. The set was purchased new by the seller in 1991, is 100% complete and in very good used condition, which means that there is a modest amount of overall wear on the set’s pieces. Includes the original Lego building instruction book for the set, which is in very good condition. The set provides for the construction of a cabin cruiser with a seat mounted on the stern deck where a fisherman can sit while fishing and a stern mounted reel containing fishing line (string) that allows the line to be released and retracted by rotation of the reel. The fishing line feeds through the fishing pole that is provided with the set and the fishing pole fits into the hand of a mini figure. The bridge windscreens and cabin roof are hinged so they can be easily raised for access to the cabin area. The boat’s one piece hull enables it to float on water and the set includes 1 brick ballast weight for placement within the hull to provide stability when floated in water. The underside of the stern portion of the hull is notched to permit the attachment of a propeller motor (not made by Lego) that may be available from selected model shops. There are no extra pieces included with the set. The set was built and then disassembled by the seller to ensure completeness. The set is shipped disassembled.
