LEGO Pirates 6279 Skull Island Retired set from 1995 99.9% complete

Description: Lego #6279 Skull Island This retired Lego Pirate set #6279 Skull Island from 1995 comes with all 6 minifigures and 99.9% of all parts and accessories. There is only one complete set of gold coins instead of two as you can see in the photos. The baseplate is a little faded and has some minor discolorations and a tiny chip on one corner as you can see in the last photo. Captain Redbeard is missing his brown epaulette. The clips were broken on the big 6 x 4 Pirate Flag and so I had to glue it to the black lance. I don't have the original manual but building instructions can be found online for free at toysperiod.com. I don't have the original box. I have double checked the inventory list against Bricklink's inventory list to be sure all parts are accounted for, unless otherwise mentioned above (ie gold coins, epaulette). I have done my best to be sure all parts are the correct color and I am pretty confident all the browns and light grays are right although it does get hard to differentiate sometimes. I had to join 2 pieces of black string but this is in no way noticeable. The parts and minifigures are all in good condition but be sure to look at all the photos to see that there may be some slight discoloration to some of the parts, especially the old light gray pieces, which is understandable considering the set is quite old. I will ship unassembled within the contiguous US, usually the day after receipt of payment. I will be sure to pack the set very carefully before shipping.
