The goal of the band has always been to create epic compositions, with sprawling instrumental portions in which each instrument is important. On the album, mellotrons and mandolins are listed. "We used quite a few instruments for the album this time around," reveals Vidarr. "I played the mandolin, along with 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars.
