Description: Description Legendary Concert Master of The Berlin Philharmonic 4 Gerhard Taschner 2 LPProduct introduction "Kreutzel" with Gieseking is a masterpiece!Tashner's ability was fully demonstratedBeethoven Sonatas A series focusing on the Berlin Philharmonic concertmaster following MELOLP-017 / 8 and MELOLP-019 / 20, this time from the TAHRA label, Gerhard Taschner's sound source has been remastered for the first LP! After making an analog master tape, it is converted to LP. The fourth collection is Beethoven's sonatas accompanied by Farnadi and Gieseking. "Kreutzel" with Gieseking is a masterpiece performance. A heavy and energetic piano and a tough violin scatter sparks. The early sonatas with Farnadi are also very attractive with their light classical proportions and nifty ensembles. Gerhard Taschner was born in Jegerndorf (now Krnov), located on the border between Czechoslovakia and Poland. The mother was an outstanding violinist. Debuted in Prague in 1929 at the age of seven. Studied under Jenő Hubay and Bronislaw Huberman. Introduced by Abendroth, who discovered his young talent, he met Furtwängler and was recognized as a concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic from 1941 to 1945. In 1944, he traveled to Helsinki with a German escort and performed Sibelius's concerto in front of the composer. After the war, he continued to play an active role in concertos and chamber music, and as a pianist, he performed with Farnadi and Gieseking a lot.
