Used to try to show figure details more clearly. Beautiful art deco satin glass sculpture of the Blessed Virgin Mother and Child. This lovely piece was designed by Stef Uiterwaal (1889-1960) for Leerdam Glass between 1929-1935. Statue stands 9.5 inches tall, measures just over 2 inches wide at the base, and weighs 1 pound, 5.3 ounces. There is a small flaw at the rear of the base. See photographs.
