The inside paper panels have numerous deep stylus marks in the shape of the tip of the stylus and also some longer stroke marks which are also deep. I tried to show some of these marks in the photos, but I'm not sure how well they show up. The system does power up and works with the sampler book. I did not test the other 2 books since that requires a download from the LeapFrog website. The sampler book has a loose page which also has creasing toward the back of the book. The Scout & PJ Masks have some slight stylus marks, but overall in very good condition. The Scout book has some creasing on page 19. The battery compartment is clean without corrosion. No original box.
