Description: For auction is a miniature vase made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This vase is quite petite as it measures 3 7/16" tall and is 2 5/8" in diameter at it swollen shoulder. This vase displays a swollen tapered form with a raised top lip. It is further decorated with an Art Nouveau pattern that resembles feathering. The base glass is green Favrile. Green Favrile is considered rare. It is decorated with a feather pattern at the top of the vessel. There is gold and green feathering. The color is outstanding as the bottom almost looks like blue Favrile that rises up in green with gold feathering in between the green fingers that reach the top lip. The iridescence is quite nice as you can see Platinum Blue, Green, and Gold iridescence. This vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings to any of the glass. There is a small inclusion (sand trapped) in the shoulder area that is not obtrusive. The vase is signed on the bottom exterior edge "L.C.T." for Louis Comfort Tiffany along with " Q 5141 ". The vase can be dated by the prefix letter Q. This vase was made circa 1902. Its amazing it has not been damaged in 122 years. Those of you who collect Tiffany Favrile miniature vases and want an wonderful example in form and condition look no further. These miniatures are considered rare and very hard to find. PLEASE READ BELOW I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July 2020. I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for. They are also now charging all sellers a commission of 12.35% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 12.35%. This is an increase of 9.45% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 12.35% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges. If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
