Description: Offered here for your consideration is a fine, diminutive, and early Dutch Delft pottery vase or jar marked for Gerrit Kam. With a stylized Chinese peony flower pattern. During his lifetime, Kam was active both in the Drie Posteleyne Astonne and De Paauw factories. It dates to the late 17th or early18th century. It is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with some chips and expected glaze losses to the lip and foot rim, some fine and light surface scratches here and there, and other signs of light wear consistent with age and use.
