Description: 5.5x7 B&W vintage appearance card signed "This card is for Jim Wiggins with warm regards L. Bell 9/2/83" in black felt tip ink. Minor creasing and wear, otherwise, in good condition. Larry Bell is an American contemporary artist and sculptor. He is best known for his glass boxes and large-scale illusionistic sculptures. He is a grant recipient from, among others, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim Foundation, and his artworks are found in the collections of many major cultural institutions. He lives and works in Taos, New Mexico, and maintains a studio in Venice, California. This lot came from the Jim Wiggins collection we purchased in July 2022. Jim Wiggins accumulated the most unique and valuable autograph collection over a period of 70-plus years. He obtained his collection either in person or by writing to persons of fame and notoriety.
