Description: Large Sowerby Pressed Glass Malachite Jug. This is a stunning and rare piece. It has the date lozenge and the trademark Peacock's head. On the lozenge it looks like 17 at the top, P at the right, A in the bottom and 2 at the left, so this reads 17th December 1877. It is a beautiful and elegant piece. 2 small chipped pieces missing, please see last 2 photos. Otherwise stunning piece in Great Condition, especially given the date of production.
