Description: Please see my other listings for more Michigan Rocks and Fossils from The Great Lakes. Large- Almost 1 pound. I am not a professional, so I do not know the EXACT type of stone this is. Found on the shores of Lake Superior of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. What I gather is it's some type of Banded jasperlite but agian, I'm not a professional. This is an awesome specimen that could be for display or for lapidary projects. This rock is whole, raw, unpolished. I only wash them and apply mineral oil to maximize detail, which can simply be washed off. You receive the exact rock pictured. Both sides and different angles are pictured, as well as tape measure for size reference. Carefully packed and shipped to you by the next business day.
