Description: Art Deco glass bowl by Daum. France, circa 1930. This is a very PRETTY and Large Art Deco glass bowl ( fruit bowl / centerpiece ), signed Daum France. Very thick glass, very heavy piece. Totally in the Art Deco taste and period, acid-etched, crafted in the “ pâte-de-verre “, deep etching and carving, in geometric shape and lines. Matte and shiny finish technique. Amber ( orange ) color. Very impressive piece. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work. Dimensions : H : 3.25 inches ( 8 cm ) Diameter : 15.25 inches ( 39 cm ) Weight : 10 lbs 6.5 oz ( 4.7 kgs ). Condition report : I restored 2 small chips places ( each of 1.25 inches long ) at the round base of the plate ( see photos ). No chips, cracks or any damage. Clean and ready to be placed.
