Internet searches reveal both types of pans had similar designs. Aebleskivers were traditional Danish pancakes that were sphere shaped, instead of flat and round like today's pancakes. They were pop with normal age related wear. ular in northern Europe throughout the 19th century. Spectacular brass handles hand forged and etched. Lined with silver metal, not sure if it is stainless, nickel or tin? It is solid and heavyweight, excellent quality. Not sure of the age, it is possible it is over 100 years old and considered a true antique. Collectible, very good condition with normal age related wear. Excellent quality, from an auction of an interior designer's personal collection.
