This pretty plate is ALL hand painted and decorated with floral motifs, Signed on the front and back side B.F.K. Which refers to : B: Boch , F: Frères and K: Keramis ( coming from the Greek word ) Ceramics. This signature is used in the Art Nouveau period. It is common to find an Art Deco vase done by Boch Frères, but hard to find such a beautiful plate in the Art Nouveau taste. Also signed on the back E T or T E, which must be the initials of the designer or painter. And impressed mark S 3. Mounted on his original metal frame. No chips, cracks or any damage.
