The brooch has mark 9Ct for 9 carat gold, the brooch has steel pin. The large oval amethyst is approx 13 carats, measures approx.18.97mm by 14.29mm by 9.1mm deep.The bug itself measures 33.4mm by 24.8mm or 1 3/8'' by 1'' at the widest part. The full length of the brooch is 76mm or 3''. The weight is 10.0grams.The coin shown is just for photo.
