Description: This exquisite antique 800 silver game pheasant weighing 11.1 ounces is a true masterpiece with intricate details and realistic design. The craftsmanship of the piece is evident in the delicate features and precise lines. Very large in size at approximately 16 inches long, 6 inches tall, 2 inches wide. Tested metal with a magnet and it does not stick. I believe this is a Neresheimer Hanau piece from the late 1800s based on the mark in the pictures. The pieces has two condition issues. The first is that one leg is detached. It can be placed upright with the leg in place and still display very nicely and unnoticeable. The second is that there appears to be a slight bend in the tail. I believe both issues can be repaired by a jeweler, but it also displays awesome as is with great natural patina. Happy to answer any questions and send additional photos if needed.
