Description: I collect all kinds of literature and other ephemera associated with Aston Martin, Lagonda, Invicta, Bristol and many more classic car marques. For a variety of reasons, I often end up with duplicates of items that I then offer for sale in order to fund further purchases. Please check back with, or follow, my listings, which I update regularly with new offerings. Here we have a marketing mail out leaflet for the (then) new 2 12/ (or 2.6) litre Lagonda Saloon. It amounts to a reprint by the factory of an Autocar Road Test of the model, first published on 11 November 1949. It is a very rare item. I think that it is in remarkably good condition, considering that is is circa 75 years old, but you must make up your own mind about it. All polite enquiries about the item are welcomed. If you are a collector and do not have a copy of this rare brochure, it makes perfect sense to buy it to enjoy whilst you wait for the perfect item to come along. In my case, it took about 6 years for me to acquire a better example. The item will be sent out recorded delivery to any UK buyer.
