Published in Three Volumes by Bernard Tauchnitz, Leipzing, 1863. Lady Morgan was an Irish, and later, English literary figure whose personality often led her to engage in conflicts and literary debates with her male peers. This edition of the memoirs appears to be the second edition, the first having been published in two volumes in 1862. The volumes are bound in half-leather with paper over board covers. There is some gutter wear present and Vol. II shows a small, partial front gutter crack. The paper over board covers hsow expected wear/rubbing. Internally the books are clean, tight and complete with the exception of a torn half-title page to Volume I. I will call the set Very Good. Books measure 4 5/8 X 6 1/4, app 980 total pages. I will offer this slightly worn, but very sound, very usable set for only $90.00 plus $6.00 S&H in the US.
