Description: This vintage French Bible from 1893 is great for collectors of antique books. The black leather binding, gilded pages, measures approx. 4 1/2" x 6 1/4". Features maps on the back pages too. It was published by SOCIETE BIBLIQUE AMERICAINE and contains both the Old and New Testament. There's an inscription from 1929 on the first blank page. Condition: binding is good, no loose pages, back/front covers and spine show wear/some chipping/tears along/around the edges and corners. Pages are yellowed from age, pages have creases, print text is small, some slight tears on the pages, mostly on the edges/corners where there is no text. The outer pages show wear from age also.
