Description: Beautiful antique L. Hutschenreuther LHR Bavaria fine porcelain apothecary mortar and pestle.Very interesting handles with the image of the Greek God of medicine Asclepius.Made between 1890 and 1910, according to the producer's green underglaze mark, stamped on the bottom.This mortar is not a large-scale production, I think it has been made by a special order. Big Size - Diameter: 7 1/8" or 18.2 cm and Tall: 5 4/8" or 14 cm. In very good condition for its age. No cracks or flakes, only some colorings because of its usage.
