Featuring here a charming set of two stockinette style cloth seated dolls in Korean costumes, each in a gift box from the Chosun Hotel which was one of the only early luxury hotels in Seoul. Circa 1960's era, the female doll is 6" tall and he is 7" tall. Handpainted facial expressions, silky thread hair, individually sewn poseable fingers, overall very good to excellent condition. The boxes are original and have some wear and tear but are most unusual to find as a souvenir from the hotel gift shop. Please see photos for details; light wear to the hair. Last photo shows a vintage postcard from the 1970's depicting the hotel where these were purchased if you wish to print it off for your display (postcard is not included in this listing, I found the photo while researching.) .
