(transmission is not needed or used on hard floor) The green light on the floor nozzle lets you know the belt is on & the brush roll is spinning. Has a two-speed motor which is controlled by a switch on the motor housing, below the handle. Foot adjustable vacuum height. Clean and in good working condition. Made in USA & built to last. It comes with the handle removed and disassembled, in the box. It takes a Phillips screwdriver and putting one bolt back through the upper cord holder & handle to put the handle back together. (Maybe takes 5 minutes) Does not come with any attachments.
