Description: Offering for sale is an attractive one-of-a-kind Keramos Pottery of Israel ceramic vase, estimated to be circa 1950's. Hand painted and hand carved with a beautiful green ceramic glazed interior. Center band of embossed filagree with a geometric Greek key design adds interest and texture. Finished off with a satin glaze. Primitive native folk art style. Approximate measurements: 11" tall x 6" across (widest part) x 3 3/4" base diameter x 2" opening diameter. Weight is about 1 3/4 pounds pre-packaged. The bottom is engraved with 1551/01, Keramos, Hand Painted, Made in Israel along with artist's initials. Original state tax sticker. Condition is excellent commensurate with age and use. No chips or cracks detected. Scuff marks detected in tan areas. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the description.
