Description: Let me start by noting that this is not antique at all. I bought a musha layered steel blade to as a project base, and refinished the scabbard to a clear poly lacquer finish with some very nice if I do say so myself cord work out of Paracord. The grip scales are cow leather, the grip wrap it is black cotton. Before cutting, shaping, and polishing all of the silver, they started out as 13 Toz of bars, 1 ten ounce, 2 one ounces, and 2 half ounces. It being a musha, the grip core is less than perfect and kind of rigged with a metal spacer to get a tighter fit with all of the silver. So the long and short of this is that it's "battle ready lol," but meant to be more of a display piece, if nothing else, the balance from the extra heavy guard makes it unwieldy compared to a traditional blade. I just edited this listing to include everything, so pictures of the blade to be added hopefully later today. This was fitted to the picture blade, you'll receive the exact set pictured. See the micrometer pictures for dimensions. Made by me from three nines fine silver. At 232.8 grams, that is equivalent to 7.485 troy ounces bullion value, plus the menuki which would be difficult to get a weight on, but don't weigh much
