This library consists of a total 114 RCA brand 7 inch reel to reel analog tapes recorded in Normal mode at 3 3/4 ips [inch per second] directly from vinyls which preserves the integrity of warm and uncompressed analog sound. Also included in the sale are 2 black 6-ring mini books painstakingly hand written all infos, numbered, indexed, titles, artist and other pertinent particulars of the collection. Let alone these unique hard plastic shells are hard to come by and if purchased individually in this mint condition would be in the upwards of $10 plus each, it is hard pressed to even find them in quantity would be next to improbable. Presumably, majority of the tapes may not even be completely full of recorded materials and only one pass recording and can be re-recorded over with minimal or no audible dynamic loss. To build a collection of this magnitude will take hundreds of hours if not years to complete.
