Description: REDUCED!!!! This beautiful coral bead and sterling silver/14K gold overlay necklace was hand-crafted and hallmarked by renowned Santo Domingo artist, Joseph DeVern Coriz. The pendant is approximately 3" x 1 1/4" and is attached to hand-rolled three-strand coral/sterling beads. The necklace itself is 23" end-to-end and the total weight of pendant and beading is 77.8 grams. The pendant depicts a Native maiden holding a pot. The bottom of the pendant has a small inlaid pueblo scene with Joseph's iconic 14K sun shining above it. There are some minor surface scratches on the pendant. His work incorporates cultural tradition and symbolism with a contemporary flare.
