With no formal art training, John started painting as a teenager and was then required to illustrate a personal journal as a Naval midshipman. He was a life member of the Armed Forces Art Society (chairman 1990-96), elected member ot The Royal Society Of Marine Artists and represented by the Rountree Tryon Gallery in London. We ship within a maximum of 3 days of purchase and will use a variety of 24-48 hour parcel carriers including Parcelforce, UPS, Yodel, City Link and Hermes. Internationally we generally ship UPS on a 5 day service. We ship worldwide apart from The Russian Federation and certain other countries where we cannot get parcel company coverage. Returns We accept returns when notified within 48 hours of receipt. If the return is due to an error on our part then we will pay up to £12 for the return postage.
