Description: John J. Audubon Octavo Print Little Sandpiper No. 68. Pl. 337 The 1st Octavo Edition, contains 500 hand-colored lithographs measuring approximately 6 ½” x 10 ¼”. The 1st edition octavo Audubon prints were lithographed and hand-colored by the studio of J.T. Bowen in Philadelphia from 1839 to 1844. This lithograph is matted and framed. The print and the matting show some foxing, but are otherwise in great condition. I am also selling two other Octavo prints. (Bartramian Sandpiper No. 66. Pl. 327 and Least Bittern No. 74. Pl. 366) If you purchase more than one, I will combine shipping.
