The engraving copied from a print, Mohamedan Mosque and Tomb, near Benares, in Charles Ramus Forrests A Picturesque Tour along the Rivers Ganges and Jumna in India, published in 1824. Fine clear transfer in a dark blue palette with old hairline to reverse, together with Makers name, series and pattern titles within a scrolling cartouche.
