Book boards are good; there is a slight discoloration and small spots on the front book board, all as indicated by my pictures which are of the actual book being offered for sale. For her work in the film, Susan Sarandon was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, and Renfro won for a Young Star Awards and Young Artist Award. The film was so successful that it spawned a television series of the same name, starring JoBeth Williams and John Heard. It ran for one season, 1995–1996.
