The sheet is lightstruck across its length and width, except for a narrow strip on each of the four sides (1/4" - 1 3/8") covered by a former framing, a narrow band of darkening separating faded and unfaded areas; small, triangular adhesive remains in each of the four corners, verso, visible recto; there are 12 cord marks at the sheet's right edge, where it was bound, originally, as part of the larger whole; hinged to the back board with two small pieces of cloth tape at the upper edge, verso. Matted (rag matt); unframed. As published in Gould's The Birds of Asia (London: Taylor and Francis, 1850 - 1883 (the 7 volumes)).
