Description: JOHN GOULD & HENRY RICHTER-Pair of Hand Colored Etchings-Hummingbirds. Heliothrix Purpureiceps and Heliodoxa Jacula. I am no expert on age or verifying lithographs or not. I will say this pair of framed prints is extraordinary though. The bird colors are iridescent to me. The prints and frames look old to me. I am going out on a limb and guessing these are from the 1940s. The paper backing is not old. Framed in Nashville; that frame shop no longer exists. I just smile as I look at them. Outside frames, 25”x29”. I believe the sea foam green matting has been painted that color. Sturdy. Stately. Lamp and buffet not included.
