Description: John Goodwin Versailles Pattern Blue Transferware Dinner Plate Circa 1841 - 1851 E Nice pearlware dinner plate decorated in the Versailles pattern in blue transfer. Probably by John Goodwin. Circa 1841 to 1851. This plate does not have the JG mark usually associated with this pattern, but has an incised mark on the bottom similar but not identical to a printed Copeland mark. Has crazing typical of pearlware and overall staining of the type that may soak out, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece. KR
