Description: This John Galliano bias cut maxi skirt from his Spring/Summer 1994 collection is cut from a beautiful grayish lavender fabric and features a sheer green chiffon trim at the waistband. He used this lavender fabric all throughout his Princess Lucretia collection. It’s hard to photograph correctly, but it is closest to the photos of the skirt lying flat. It also bares a rare white label that was only used for S/S 1993 & S/S 1994. Although the remaining labels were mixed into his F/W 1994 collection as written in the book, Galliano: Spectacular Fashion by Kerry Taylor. It is in very good condition considering its age and only has a few very faint marks throughout (see photos). The skirt is made of 80% acetate and 20% viscose and was manufactured in France. Waist: 26.5 inches Length: 46 inches There is little to no give at the waist, but the hip has a lot of stretch from the bias so it can fit a range of sizes.
