Joe Musial" on Front Endpaper Page (book's very 1st page: see pic), Joe Musial's "The Katzenjammer Kids" book from 1970. This is an original, author-hand-signed book with an original hand-made illustration. Joseph Musial (1905 -- 1977) was an American cartoonist who drew The Katzenjammer Kids from 1956 to his death in 1977....In 1956, following the death of cartoonist Doc Winner, King Features sought a replacement writer and artist on The Katzenjammer Kids. Musial took the job, and spent his remaining 21 years drawing the popular weekly strip. He was the fourth artist to work on the strip, following Rudolph Dirks, Harold Knerr and Winner." I purchased it at a Book Sale, near where I live in the Washington DC area. I can see the pen marks look original, and the book is signed to "Seth", with "Seth's name on the last page. The autograph looks authentic. It is very similar to Joe Musial's other authentic autographs I have seen on-line.
