Description: This listing is for a rare original vinyl record Joe Henderson - Page One #BST-84140 in solid VG+/VG+ condition. I believe the cover sleeve was replaced at some point with a later pressing 1970s cover sleeve but the vinyl record and paper inner sleeve are original. The cover sleeve’s is in VG+ condition with only a few flaws. Some sticker residue on the front top right corner and a little writing on the top corners of the backside. The inner sleeve does have some damage and was repaired with tape. The vinyl record is a solid strong VG+ condition on both sides. It does have some light foxing or surface spots but they don’t impact sound quality and they can really only be seen at certain angles under good lighting. I tried to take good pictures at an angle to emphasize the surface spots. A few pictures are a little deceptive and show reflections from my phone or arm which look like small marks or blemishes but they don’t actually exist. For example, picture #14 shows a tiny white mark underneath the “Van Gelder” but it’s actually the reflection from the corner of my phone and in reality there is nothing there. You can see a clear example of this in picture #8 where you can see a white mark/line that is from the light reflecting off my smartphone’s protective case. Overall, conservatively the vinyl record is a solid VG+ condition. A case can be made that the vinyl record is actually Excellent or close to NM, as it is very glossy with no scratches or feelable blemishes, but with surface spots I grade it as a strong VG+.
