Many of his students served as heads of yeshivas, rabbis and dayanim in the world.Rabbi Sarna was one of the leaders of the Haredi community during the years of the establishment of the State of Israel, one of the heads of the Council of Yeshivas in Eretz Israel and the Independent Education.
