A landscape featuring a farmhouse with outbuildings and chickens by this noted Lehigh Valley artist who was one of Walter Emerson Baum's most successful students over her nearly one hundred years. I had the pleasure to talk and correspond with Ms. Beaudry numerous times, discussing her art and her early memories of Walter Baum and all of the other Allentown-area artists in Baum's circle in the 1930s and 1940s. What a delightful and talented person, and we are honored to have a number of her works in our private collection. The painting we are selling is highly representative of Beaudry's earlier work with nice brushstrokes and areas of impasto. It is in very good condition with no apparent defects and is housed in a simple black and gold wood frame that has a few abrasions but is also in very good condition. The painting has been in our private collection for many years. IMPORTANT NOTE: SHIPPING ONLY WITHIN THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES. NO SHIPPING TO ALASKA OR HAWAII. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
